// PAY IT FORWARD

Security for everyone who needs it.
Cost can be paid in contribution.

We provide SAFE SQUARE services to selected organizations that need security support but lack the budget. Within an agreed scope, part or all of the cost can be met through social contribution — volunteering, donation or sharing knowledge.

// 01 · WHY

Organizations that need security most
often have the least room in their budgets.

Early-stage startups, independent teams, nonprofits, and schools face the same attackers as everyone else. As technology and threats advance, the gap keeps widening — and places that can't afford the security they need become new blind spots. Pay It Forward offers another way to meet the cost.

Early startups & solo founders

Teams running a live product or service without dedicated security staff. A comprehensive Security Health Check offers a practical starting point.

Nonprofits & public-interest groups

Organizations that handle donor information and program data with limited security budgets. We help reduce the risk of a cyberattack disrupting their work.

Schools & communities

Educational institutions and developer/security communities can also use our training programs through Pay It Forward.

// 02 · HOW IT WORKS

The same professional standard.
A different way to contribute.

Participants receive the same standard of service as any other client. In return, we agree on a practical contribution that reflects the scope of support and can be completed responsibly.

STEP 1

Application & consultation

We discuss your situation, the security support you need, and a contribution that fits your capabilities.

STEP 2

Agree on the contribution

We document the service scope, the contribution, and a realistic completion period.

STEP 3

We deliver the service

Performed to the same standard and quality as for paying clients.

STEP 4

Contribute & share the outcome

Complete the agreed contribution and share the outcome where appropriate, helping the program reach its next participant.

// 03 · WHAT COUNTS

What can count as a contribution?

There is no single format. We define an appropriate contribution together based on your expertise, circumstances, and capacity.

Pro bono skills

Development, design, translation, teaching — helping those in need with your expertise

Donations

A donation matching the service value, to an agreed charity or foundation

Knowledge sharing

Open-source contributions, published lessons learned, community talks & mentoring

Volunteering & continued support

Community volunteering — or passing the help you received on to another organization

* The type, scale, and completion criteria are agreed during consultation. Eligibility and the number of participants may vary with SAFE SQUARE's service capacity.

// 04 · THE EXCHANGE

What you get, what you give.

RECEIVE

Professional security

Assessment, validation, and training — used without the budget barrier.

GIVE BACK

Agreed contribution

Skills, donations, or knowledge sharing that pass the value on.

The fee is met through an agreed contribution, not money.

// 05 · THE CYCLE

The organizations we protect
go on to protect someone else.

The capability we've built — people and AI together — reaches the places that need it. One security engagement leads to pro bono work, a donation, or shared knowledge, and that contribution supports another community in turn.
